OPJ Chapter 11: Justice Coat

“He was badly injured.”

Saitama grabbed his neck and continued. “He should be okay. He just woke up for a while and said a few words about calling the marine headquarters...”

Garp laughed: “He thought we will need reinforcements, that's why he asked you to contact them!”

While he was laughing, he stood up, and his eyes glowed with excitement, hit his hand in his other one as looking at Saitama: “I know what I should do now!”

Saitama: “Ah?”

Looking to the injured soldiers around and Smoker’s wounds, Garp screamed: “Kid! You must stay in Loguetown Base for now.”

With his big mouth continued as if his soul would come out: “this time, you bravely fought the Red-Count, you should be able to be promoted as captain... But in the meantime, it's clear that this Town can't be left alone, so, until Smoker recovers, this garrison must be stronger to deterrent and defender to the east blue sea and impact on the whole world!”

Saitama suddenly winked: “Old man, what are you talking about? Am I going to stay here?”

“Stop calling me Old man! Yes, it's a bit of a waste, but it's not the time to start a war on the new world!”

Garp looked at Saitama seriously and said: “If you want to wipe out all the pirates in the new world, we need to be prepared, that's not easy as you think. Killing the four emperors doesn't fix the problem. It will cause more confusion and panic... and our forces need time to be prepared for that.”

Saitama looked at Garp for a long time, scratched his head, and said: “Ahh… You talk too much old man!”

Garp slapped his face and said, “What should I do with this man!”

Saitama: “So, what do you want me to do? Stay here?”

Garp immediately put on his coat and seriously roared: “YES, you’re the one who can clean this world… by this time, if you meet the two stinky boys, Ace or Luffy, when they go out to the sea as pirates, would you beat them hard! It's okay to break their bones! So, they will not be opponent for anyone Ha Ha Ha…”

………………………………………………………………..

A moment of silence passed, Garp was excited about what happened and what would happen in the future. While Saitama who was looking at him with his blank face.

It took more than 20 seconds for the first react.

“(Cough)… (Cough)…”

Garp pretended to cough, then made a weak look: “Ah... this battle, Smoker was seriously injured... (Cough)... we must take him to the nearest hospital, he is suffering...”

Although he was pretending, the injuries were real.

So under Garp's instructions, Saitama contacted the medical force in Loguetown and sent both Smoker and the marine soldiers to the military hospital.

All Loguetown’s forces had been killed by the Red-Count except Smoker. So it will take a lot of time recruiting or transferring.

So while Garp and others were hospitalized, Saitama had temporarily taken the responsibility to protect and wipe out pirates from Loguetown: “It’s justice time.”

A few days later, the marine's warships arrived in Loguetown to pick up the wounded. Accompanied by hundreds of soldiers commanded by Lieutenant Bulin. Obviously, they came to take control of the Town. But Saitama has already cleaned it.

Bulin ordered Saitama to move away since he is superior in rank, but Heroes are not willing to accept the relationship between superiors and subordinates, that’s why Saitama refused to obey.

When Garp informed about the new reinforcement, he suddenly remembered, there is no announcement about Saitama, and the new naval elite is obviously unable to obey his commands. So he jumped out of the hospital bed and went to the warship…

Fortunately, he arrived before the situation worsened, Garp dragged Bulin from his coat and said: “it's not a good idea to fight him.”

“Listen to me.”

Garp grabbed Bulin, stood on the bow of the warship, and shouted to the soldiers below: “From now on, you all of you have to obey Saitama's commands! An official announcement will come soon, and it is not allowed for anyone to refuse or cause trouble to him.” looked to Bulin and keep talking: “Do you understand?”

The prestige of marine commanders naturally shown, even without saying anything.

Sometimes, Lieutenant's words are not as good as Garp's. So when Garp left, about two hundred marine soldiers stood in a neat line in front of Saitama and shouted in unison, “Your orders, sir!”

Saitama was surprised. He is not used to giving orders: “What!? Ah...”

Saitama resented the situation and said quietly: 'I'm the last person to deal with these situations... I have to say anything to keep them busy...'

Seeing Saitama's embarrassment, Bulin came out of the line and whispered to him, “Sir, if there are no orders, I'll take them to the Town to maintain public order. You can walk around, I will report to you the news by the Den Den Mushi at any time...”

“Den Den what?! Ah, the talking snail! Is that possible?”

Saitama's eyes lit up, patted the Lieutenant's shoulder, and said: “You're so thoughtful! What's your name?”

The Lieutenant immediately straightened up and said, “Reporting Officer, subordinate, the second lieutenant of the marine headquarters, named 'Bulin', student of the Lieutenant, Onigumo!”

“Ahhh! You talk too much, and why you have many names, just give me one.”

“It is Bulin, sir!” he frustratingly said.

“Ah! This one easy to remember you should… Hen!?” Saitama looked at the soldiers and whispered to Bulin, “What are they waiting for? Do I have to say something!?”

“No, Sir! We’ll go immediately.” Bulin saluted Saitama and ordered the soldiers to maintain public order.

And so, Saitama started his first day as a marine commander.

The soldiers dispatched from the headquarters were all newly qualified recruits.

Pirates who wanted to take advantage of the marine's absence in Loguetown were defeated by Saitama, which increases the courage and tranquility of the citizens.

Everything was under the marines' control.

One month later

Garp, who was still wearing bandages, came out to Loguetown, took out an appointment letter and a coat. He looked at Saitama and said: “Saitama! Officially you are Lieutenant General Saitama…”

Garp handed over the coat to Saitama and apologized slightly. “You killed the Red Count by yourself. Even if you were directly promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General, we can't expose you to the eyes of those monsters in the new world, at least for now... It's a shame that I took the estimate. It's a shame for justice.”

“No problem!” Saitama said with his usual blank face.

Saitama took over the coat and looked at it carelessly. “It was just an activity of interest. If I accepted the estimate, then a lot of trouble would come to this place...”

“If you are like this, then I'm even less embarrassed...”

Garp sighed with regret and continued: “But, I guarantee, you will be recommended to the marine headquarters directly to be promoted to a Captain... and now put on the coat, I want to see how you look like on it!”

“Like this?”

Saitama took the coat and pulled it on his shoulders. And with wind blows, it gave him the hero’s prestige. A magnificent scene made Garp cried.

“Saitama Boy…”

Garp rubbed his eyes, grinned, then laughed: “You and the word justice on this coat, are the perfect match! Ha ha ha ha…”
